We actively engage in an eco-friendly, custom-crafted, healthy, respectful approach to everything we do.

What type of candles does Baroness von Neumann produce?
We create our candles with a soy wax blend. To date, soybean wax appears to be the best natural wax available for candle making. Not only are soybeans renewable, the wax it yields is a smart alternative to petroleum-based candles.

How long do Baroness von Neumann candles burn?
On average, our candles last up to three times longer than petroleum-based candles. They also have the ability to “throw” highly considered scents that fill the room with sensual, dramatic as well as subtle “notes.”

Do Baroness von Neumann candles create that black soot?
No candle wax is completely “soot free,” yet natural wax-based candles such as ours have significantly less soot. And what little soot produces is white.

What type of wicks do Baroness von Neumann candles use?
For a cleaner, healthier burn we use a pure cotton wick, and avoid wicks with a copper metal or wire in them.

GENERAL TERMS AND CONDITIONS OF SALE
The purchase of any product offered on the BARONESSVONNEUMANN.COM or BARONESSCANDLES.COM websites (‘websites”) is subject to these General Terms and Conditions of Sale ("Terms and Conditions"). Orders may only be placed on the website by individual consumers and corporations purchasing goods for purposes other than for resale. Any resale or distribution of BARONESS VON NEUMANN products (“products”) purchased on the website is strictly prohibited.

BVN LLC may update these Terms and Conditions at anytime without notice.

By placing an order on the BARONESSVONNEUMANN.COM or BARONESSCANDLES.COM website, you agree to all of the Terms and Conditions in effect on the date of the order.

Purchase—Terms of Ordering

The BARONESSCANDLES.COM website may be used to order a selection of candles from BVN LLC online. Before confirming your order, check that the item, its references, quantity selected, unit price and total amount owed for your order accurately reflects your selection. Upon confirmation, your order will be submitted to BVN LLC for processing (see "Acceptance of Orders"). If you have any questions about the products, you may contact our customer service department.

BVN LLC reserves the right to cancel any order placed by a customer with whom it has a dispute concerning a prior order, or if BVN LLC has reasonable cause to suspect that such customer has violated these Terms and Conditions, or is engaged in any fraudulent activity or for any other legitimate cause. For any special orders, please contact us.

Purchase—Availability

Our products and prices are valid as they can be seen on the BARONESSCANDLES.COM website, subject to availability. Errors or amendments may occur, especially in case of multiple orders of the same product made by several customers. In the case of unavailability of a product after ordering, you will be informed by email or by phone as soon as possible, and you may substitute or cancel the order. If you choose to cancel your order, your payment will be refunded immediately if payment has already been received.

BVN LLC is not liable in case of stock outage or unavailability of any products. BVN LLC reserves the right to change at any time and without any notice the items sold and displayed on the BARONESSCANDLES.COM website.

Purchase—Order Confirmation

At the end of the checkout procedure, you will submit your payment. Once your payment and order is transmitted to BVN LLC, it cannot be amended or cancelled except in the express conditions provided herein or where otherwise required by law. The confirmation of your order signifies your acceptance of the Terms and Conditions of Sale in its entirety. You will receive an order summary when your order is received.

The data collected and registered by the BARONESSCANDLES.COM website shall establish material proof of the transaction entered between BVN LLC and the customer. In case of a dispute between BVN LLC and one of its customers regarding a transaction made on the BARONESSCANDLES.COM website, the data collected and registered by BVN LLC will be considered irrefutable proof of the transaction.

Purchase—Prices and Payment

The prices of Baroness von Neumann products are indicated in US dollars, excluding taxes and shipping costs (see "Shipping and Delivery") unless otherwise noted. BVN LLC reserves the right to modify the prices of products offered on the BARONESSCANDLES.COM website at any time without prior notice. You will be charged the prices displayed on the

BARONESSCANDLES.COM website at the time your order is received, provided the goods ordered are available at that time.

You will be required to provide payment information for any order placed on the BARONESSCANDLES.COM website immediately upon confirmation of your order. We only accept payment by debit card or credit card. You cannot use store credits or gift certificates issued by Baroness von Neumann to purchase items offered on the BARONESSCANDLES.COM website. All orders are payable in US dollars unless otherwise noted. We accept the following payment methods: MasterCard®, Visa®, Diners Club®, Discover®, and American Express®, JCB and PayPal. Your order will only be fulfilled once we have verified your payment method and received authorization to process your payment. Your debit card or credit card will only be debited or charged when your order is shipped. If any of the products in your order are unavailable, we will only charge you the product, taxes and shipping costs for the goods available.

Purchase - Reservation of Title

The ordered products remain the property of BVN LLC until payment is received in full by BVN LLC. In case a payment is not received or cancelled, it becomes your responsibility to return any received products to BVN LLC immediately upon request. You assume all risks (including theft, loss, and damage) in returning the product.

Shipping and Delivery—Delivery Zone

Goods will be shipped to the delivery address specified during the ordering procedure. BVN LLC will not process any order for which a post office box or APO/FPO address is provided.

Shipping and Delivery—Shipping costs

You will be asked to select the shipment method you would prefer as part of the order procedure—Free; 2-Day Ground, $25 Overnight or $35 Ground. Allow between three and seven working days between the date of your order and your date of delivery. Your order must be placed before 2 pm EST. It will be delivered within two working days.

Overnight: Your order must be placed before 2 pm EST. It will be delivered on the following business day. Certain shipping options are unavailable to certain addresses (e.g., Ground shipping to Alaska or Hawaii).

We will inform you of the shipping costs for the shipment method you would have selected in the order summary displayed on the BARONESSCANDLES.COM website before you confirm your order. This amount will be payable by you in addition to the price, including taxes, of the goods ordered.

Delivery Time—Time Required for Delivery

During the ordering procedure, we will inform you of the time required for delivery and the various forms of delivery available for the goods purchased. However, BVN LLC reserves the right to divide your order into partial shipments. In this case, your charge card or credit card will only be debited for the goods shipped and for a single shipment.

Delivery Time—Delivery Problems

Any failure to deliver or late delivery exceeding ten (10) business days should be reported to our customer service as soon as possible. In order for your claim to be accepted, please notify us within a maximum of thirty (30) calendar days from the date of your order. You should check that your shipment is correct upon delivery. If there are any discrepancies in your order when the products are delivered to you, you should make note of the nature of the potential discrepancy (e.g., open package, damaged goods, etc.) by hand, if possible, on the delivery notice, and sign.

If the goods do not conform to your order or you are not satisfied with them, you may return them, exchange them or request a refund according to the terms and conditions contained in the section entitled "Returns, Exchanges, Refunds".

Returns, Exchanges, Refunds

You are entitled to return any product ordered via the BARONESSCANDLES.COM website within the thirty (30) calendar days following the date of delivery, subject to the following terms and conditions:

Returns must be shipped back in their original condition (unopened and unused) and packaging to the following address: BARONESS VON NEUMANN, 1480 N. Kings Rd., West Hollywood, CA 90069. You must enclose the original receipt with your returns, or a copy if you are returning only a part of your order.

For items received as a gift obtained from the BARONESSCANDLES.COM website, you are only entitled to a merchandise exchange. You may exchange the item for a different item or several different items, which together are equal in value to the full value of the original item you received as a gift. You must specify with your order whether you wish to exchange the goods returned or require a refund. If you exchange goods, the shipping costs for the first delivery will not be refunded. However, you will not be charged for the shipping costs of the second delivery. Only one exchange per item will be honored.

If you request for a refund, BVN LLC will use all reasonable efforts to ensure that the refund will be made within seven (7) business days of receipt of the goods returned by crediting your debit or credit card.

Under no circumstances will it be possible to grant you an electronic credit usable on the BARONESSCANDLES.COM website.

In either case (exchange or refund), the shipping costs incurred in returning any replacement goods to you will be refunded only if you the products were not as ordered (e.g., product reference error, damaged goods, etc.). BVN LLC has sole discretion in determining whether the products are in original condition when returned. BVN LLC will not be responsible or liable if any item you wish to return to the
